The main purpose is to reduce the overall body fat while improving muscle tone at the same time although this should be a gradual process. Nevertheless, if you follow the advice here there is no reason why you shouldn’t get your old figure and weight back within a year of giving birth. However, it is important to remember that if you are breastfeeding then those last stubborn pounds may not be lost until you stop!This is possible for most new mothers although it must be remembered that some of the pounds are not likely to be shed while the breastfeeding continues.
